St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner - and we are flying over "A Pinch of Snuff" again from Ireland for your entertainment!!
Craic Fest 2010 March 12th -18th
From March 12th to 18th Katie Mullen's will once again come alive with a myriad of traditional Irish Music, Celtic Rock and Irish Rock. The traditional Irish group, Pinch of Snuff, who hail from Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim will once again play residency at Katie Mullen's for the St. Patrick's week festivities. Arriving in on March 11th, the 5 musicians will tune up and keep the festivities going from lunch time on Friday 12th through St Patrick's day.The group is made up of some all Ireland champions including Jim Butler on Flute, Uillean Pipes and Tin Whistle, Tom Gleeson on Bazooke, Fergal Harmon on Vocals and Guitar, Gerry Miley on Guitar and Bodhran and finally, All Ireland Box player James Wickham.
The group play all year round in Katie Mullen's sister bar, The Swan, in Carrick-on-Shannon and due to popular demand and the huge success of the Craicfest in 2009 return for what will be a great week of music, dance and song at Katie Mullen's.
With a view to building on last years success, Katie Mullen's will show case the renowned U2 cover band, Under a Blood Red Sky, on Saturday 13th (Parade day). The band will play live on the Victorian stage in Katie Mullen's from 10pm. Also playing on parade day will be "Potcheen" from 5p.m-7pm. Potcheen are becoming a regular siting at Katie Mullen's and are sure to liven up the festivities while giving Pinch of Snuff a well earned break! Potcheen also return on St Patricks Day for a full set from 10pm.

Covering the War tour in 1983 to present day, each show has amazed fans with their ability to recreate famous U2 shows and has solidified their reputation for sold out venues - including the world-famous Red Rocks!
